Hooked On Books
Yay, my order from Amazon arrived! The image above is a page from a new coffee-table format book called Tiki Quest, that's filled with beautiful photographs of tiki mugs and other Polynesian collectibles. You can preview some of the other pages here.
I also ordered another copy of L.A. Bizarro to replace the one I loaned to my mom, which she subsequently left on an airplane (this is why she can't have nice things). I've already seen quite a few of the unique places that the book describes in such loving detail, but I've yet to feast upon the legendary tubesteaks to be found at Pink's Hot Dogs in Hollywood. I plan to rectify that during my next trip to Los Strangeles in December.
