We all know that the Sixties were a bad time for fashion, but I believe this represents some sort of nadir...for both man and beast. One can only hope they were both put down humanely after this photo was taken to spare them any further suffering. [Link]

Meet Ace Jackalope, adventurer, cultural investigator and tiki enthusiast. Although vicious when provoked, he usually mellows out when given a drink. Last summer, the 'Lope got his kicks on Route 66 while driving from Missouri to California. Along the way, he documented and photographed some incredible living relics of roadside Americana, and got to wear a bunch of cute little outfits to boot.
