How Many Clowns Fit Into an Avolette Tourisme de Luxe?

The next time I'm in Atlanta, I'll definitely be taking a side trip to see the gigantic collection of itty-bitty automobiles at the Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum. In the meantime, I can pretend I'm already there by clicking through the excellent virtual tour galleries.

In addition to minicars, the museum also collects vintage kiddie rides!

All Ephemera, All the Time

The Ephemera Society of America has a small, but quality collection of Japanesque trading cards. The image on the left uses the character of Koko from Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta, The Mikado, to sell cotton cord. The copy (which I've cropped out of the photo) even goes so far as to ape the style of G&S's libretto.

Be sure to browse the rest of the Ephemera Society site; their humongous page of online exhibition links will be keeping me busy clicking for while. No doubt a lot of these links have been blogged by others, but I'm too lazy this morning to check. Here's a few of my faves thus far:
