I could spend hours browsing through the John Jenkins SparkMuseum's incredible collection of antique radio and scientific apparatus. Vintage electronics seem so much more aesthetically pleasing to me than the bland design of modern gadgets like the ubiquitous iPod.

On a recent trip to London, Virani le Beachcomber got himself a pair of fab eyeglass frames made out of old Exotica LPs. They were crafted by Scott Urban, previously famous on teh Internets for making Spectacles of Wood. Scott writes about these new "Record Specs" on his webpage (scroll down) and dubs them "Le Beachcomber" in honor of Virani. Pretty sweet!
