In Other News
I'm on vacation this week. It's deer-hunting season where I live, so most everyone in my office is out sitting in a tree stand, freezing their asses off and waiting to get a clear shot at Bambi's mother and father as they bound past them. Meanwhile, I'm staying inside my warm house, eating delicious food and drinking fine wine.
Suckers.
Next Friday I'm leaving for the U.K. I'll be staying in Reading for 2 weeks and making frequent trips into London for various cultural and social activities. I'm particularly looking forward to meeting up with The Cartoonist, plep, and Tiki Chris at Londinium's newest tiki bar, Mahiki.
I also bought a ticket to see Spamalot. Yes, I'm a pathetic Monty Python fanboy. Check out Ace Jackalope's London trip report for some great shots of Tim Curry doing his King Arthur schtick.
