A Crockwork Lemon

Here's something I haven't seen in, oh, 31 years or so: Mad Magazine's gleefully inane parody of A Clockwork Orange scanned from the June, 1973 issue.

And if that's not Mad enough for you, here's a gallery of cover scans from damn near every movie satire they ever made.

Scared of Santa

Since we're going to be in Los Angeles over Christmas, we opened our presents last night. I got a nice tonneau cover for my Baja pickup, along with the extended version of Return of the King, and my usual giant tubful of gummi bears. Kind of a light haul this year, mainly because we're trying to save money for our vacation.

On a different holiday note, Here's 24 hilarious photos of terrorized tots encountering Santa Claus. Truth be told, I'd be scared around some of these Santas myself. Take this one. What the hell is up with the uber-creepy mask? Is it Friday the 13th Santa come to slash all the bad little boys and girls? And who's this supposed to be, abusive drunk Santa? Hey, St. Nick, you can keep your freakin' presents, just get away from me!

Whew.

Now here's some Christmas stuff that's creepy in a good way. Amy Winfrey's Making Fiends X-mas Bonus episode. Naughty, or nice? You decide.

UPDATE: huh, I could've sworn I had a picture of myself sobbing on Santa's lap, but all I could find was this photo of me sitting contently with the jolly old elf. That's my dad in the suit, so maybe I was lulled into complacency by the familiar smell of his aftershave or something.

Santa Needs More Cowbell

Only 9 more days until Christmas. Have you written your letter to Christopher Walken yet?

Just don't ask him for a watch.

Pity These Fools

Mr. T and Me showcases but a mere fraction of the 4,000 Mr. T collectibles owned by obsessive fans, Mike Esst and Greg Rivera. If that's not enough Mr. T for you, visit Mr. T Says and read some faux T answers to real fan mail.

Now cut the jibber-jabber and click on the link, fool!

Nice Rack

These slightly NSFW photographs of a rather gross prank played on a Canadian DJ, show why you should never, ever agree to wear a blindfold when copping a feel...you may find yourself fondling Richard Speck's little brother.

I have nothing further to say other than, "AAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!"

Talk to Mr. Hand

This hilariously earnest article suggests that single men take a hand puppet into bars with them in order to meet women by making them laugh. Yeah, they're gonna laugh all right...at this guy's hair.
