Dong Pokes His Head Up

I've made a few modifications to my blogroll, please take note of them. There'll be a quiz later.

If you've wondered why Dong Resin's Joint has been so limp and flaccid over lo, these many months, it's because he's been a busy, busy boy. He spent a month or two in self-imposed exile channeling the ka of a small mexican dog, then he was forced into hurricane evasion mode. He's most recently surfaced as a minion of the Evil Gawker Media Empire in his new capacity as the editor of Screenhead, a repository of wacky links that one waggish tongue has likened unto, "...Blort with Dong at the helm, which is just so much better." Somewhere, a disconsolate and rejected quonsar is free but wondering where all the love went.

I've also added a new weblog, Pop Culture Gadabout. A fine collection of essays and reviews on...what else...pop culture.

And lastly, but not leastly, the oh-so fine The Eyes Have It has moved to a new URL and resumed posting after a long hiatus. Welcome back, Lee!

Alice Has a Brand New Blog

Here's more doovy punk noisetalgia: Alice Bag, formerly of legendary LA punk band, The Bags, has her own weblog called Diary of a Bad Housewife. Her official website is full of good stuff too. She's mellowed a bit with age (who hasn't), but she's still witty, incisive, and just a teensy bit angry.

UPDATE: Here's a couple of excellent punk-related links listed on Alice's website: Woolworth Women in Punk Archive and Women of 1970's Punk
