Photographer Mick Rock has taken some truly definitive shots of rock's most vivid practioners; Syd Barrett, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Queen, the Ramones, Blondie, and Lou Reed, to name but a few. In this 1999 interview, Mick gives a fascinating account of his personal journey through the glittery world of glam in the 1970s.
Rusted Chrome covers much of the same era, but does so with a focus on the legendary bands that emerged from Detroit during the period of 1966 through 1972; hard-edged, take-no-prisoner combos like the Stooges and the MC5.
