The Mai Tai Turns 60

Apparently, the Trader Vic's Mai Tai turned sixty last Thursday. Why didn't anyone tell me? I'd make one right now to celebrate belatedly, but I've got a rotten cold and wouldn't be able to taste it.

Makes me nostalgic for the Trader Vics in NYC in the late 70's Start off with a Mai Tai , then a Suffering bastard and maybe a Pina Colada. Somehow I made it home alive on the Long Island Railroad. Take a shot of Rum for that cold.

Fritz: hot toddy, definitely.
Sebastian: are you paying the shipping charges to Sweden?
Ron: I was too busy drinking Yuengling Black and Tan last week to notice.

Hey, what's a good Wisconsin beer? I'll check my local Beverages & More to see if they have it.

New Glarus Brewery makes some good suds. I like Spotted Cow quite a bit. Sprecher Black Bavarian is also excellent.
