Today's Tiki Schwag

I'm burning some vacation time this week, so I hopped in the car this morning and drove down to Wisconsin Dells and La Crosse to do some antiquing. As you can see, I had one of my best days ever for scoring tiki schwag. No small feat in an area that's typically devoid of such Polynesian Popschotkes, so I'm a pretty happy Kane tonight.

Exquisite.

I'm actually kind of ambivalent about the Menehunes, they're practically a Polynesian version of Precious Moments figurines.

except precious moments don't build canoes and poi ponds...

An entire pond of Poi?! As if a teeny-tiny bowl of that stuff isn't enough.

Great stuff!!!

I also found a beautiful ukulele and a Hawaiian doll, but I'd already reached the spending limit I'd set for myself, so I had to leave them behind.
