Is It Just Me...
...or does the entire blogosphere seem to be in a gigantic rut these days?
Seems like ages since I've seen anything that's really made me go, "Holy crap, that's the coolest thing ever."
Maybe I just need a nap.

Glad someone agrees. I have an exceedingly low boredom threshold, and little tolerance for memes that have lived well past their expiration date: e.g. pirates, steampunk, DRM, etc., so I need a reality check every now and then.
I'm think interest in Tiki is waning as well, but I view that as a good thing, since less interest=lower prices.

There, there, gramps. Let me tuck you in, it's almost time for "Matlock".

"Honey, that goddamned Echeverri kid just crapped on our lawn again."
"Should I call his mother?"
"No, I'm gonna go get my shotgun filled with rock-salt and pop a shell in his ass."

Are you sure that maybe your enthusiasm for (new) stuff is a bit down? Maybe it's also hard to suprise someone with your wide range of experiences and knowledge?
The people will also talk about the same crap again and again, knowledge distribution and topics are in a infinite loop.
New stuff appears rarely.

I'm really not seeing much of anything I consider really "new", and if I do find something I think is cool, nobody seems to be interested in it but me.

What is this "cool" of which you speak, and where should we find it?
