When I was a kid, I delivered this weird little weekly paper that had mostly local news but also a handful of syndicated columns.
One of them was "Criswell Predicts..." and I remember an elderly neighbor telling me that the only reason she subscribed to the paper was that her husband liked to read his column.
I was like, 11 at the time, and of course had no idea who the hell Criswell was! Now I wish I'd kept a copy or two.
