For all the madness ... I really like the very first cover. Excellent portrait. Not as whacky as the rest, but more personal ...

Hawkins wanted very much to be taken seriously as a singer, and by the time he recorded this album, had become tired of the whole coffin and skull routine, which probably accounts for the more personal feel of the cover photo.

i loved his performace in 'mystery train'

So did I, even though I think Jim Jarmusch films are about as exciting as colonoscopies.
