Quick, the Mental Bleach!
I used to wonder if there was such a thing as too many bad album covers. Now I know that the answer is yes, oh sweet Pele on a pogo stick, yes.

Since many covers show fat, middle aged people like myself ... it seems I still have a chance in Showbiz!

What's the tiki equivalent of maracas?

I hear that Tubby likes to dance to Jethro Tull...;-)
I don't know, but whatever they're called, this wahine is shakin' 'em.

Tubby Boots was best friends with beatnik/jazz comedian Lord Buckley. Like Buckley, Boots loved to run around naked. He often streaked during other performer's acts at the nightclubs he was appearing at in the fifties, much to the disgust of the patrons. He was also friends with Lenny Bruce and Jack E. Leonard. I have another album he put out called Tubby Boots: Out of this World on 8-track.

Fascinating, and it only deepens my revulsion. Thanks for the info, Kliph!
