Mrs. BH and I have been married 26 years today. We don't look much like this photograph anymore (and in some ways, that's a good thing) but we still love each other just as much as we did back then. This was taken around Christmas, 1978, and we were getting ready to go hear the L.A. Philharmonic. As it turned out, we were way overdressed for the occasion. I bought the tuxedo at the local Salvation Army for $1.75.

The interior of my mother's mobile home still looks exactly like that. She has dark wood panelling, orange shag carpeting, avocado appliances, and bright-red countertops.
