In case it's not obvious from the lack of updates, I've decided to take a break from blogging until further notice. I may be back in a month, or I may be back tomorrow, it all depends on when I start feeling inspired again.

I believe that I have found a solution for your bandwidth problems; it will allow you to completely curtail image theft during your hiatus.
You'll need to run this each time you reboot.

Even if I could issue this command (which I can't, because I don't have shell access to my server), wouldn't stopping Apache bring down my entire site?

after all those clever lists you deserve rest. i couldn't get together any cool lists or thank you lists or best of or favorites or boingboing linked me. i'm waiting for my cold to pass + maybe get inspired about something heartshaped for valentines day, i guess a modern italian chair... i'll go post one now. if i see any venutians kidnapping valentine's day couples at lover's lane movies i'll bet you know all about it already.

i got one a couple months ago + it's fun at first to find there are a lot of people with groovy pictures + music on their sites, but it takes a lot of time to keep up with looking at all that + sending "comment" pictures.
you don't have to have a page to look around. but it's best if you find one site you like + click on their friends + their friends to stay on topics you like.
