Hooray For Santy Claus!
mom*mom e-mailed me this cool cover of the comic-book version of the cult-film classic, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. If you haven't seen this yet, you're only missing out on some of the worst dialogue, performances, special effects, and music ever committed to celluloid, with a plot that's dopey beyond belief. If you don't fall asleep 15 minutes into it, you may also spot young Pia Zadora in all of her chipmunk-cheeked ingenue glory.
So what are you waiting for? Download it from archive.org and watch it now...Now...NOW!

Happy Xmas to all at MrBaliHai ville!
But don't watch that movie. It hurts too much.

And a Merry Xmess to Ookville!
Don't worry. I can't watch more than 10 or 15 minutes of SCCtM without nodding off. I think it's my brain's way of protecting itself from irreversible damage.

That was just on one of those SKY movie channels. I managed 10 minutes, then I gave up. Happy Christmas!

Same to you, Ralf!
I wonder if being forced to watch this all the way through could be considered torture?

My favorite part of the MST3K version of this movie was the syndicated introduction: "Whether you view Santa Claus as a spritely minister of yuletide cheer, or a skulking gnome unfit to play ambassador to ANY religion, it's doubtful you'd want to see him kidnapped by Martians."
