Captain Morgan really is the stuff of nightmares, isn't it?
We were vying for some of their business a couple years back. I don't think the creative director trying to land the account was at all amused that I refused to refer to it by any other name than "Captain Morgan's Nasty-Ass Excuse for Liquor". (Suffice it to say I wasn't on the account team.)
Bamboo Ben campaigned hard to get Crazy Al hired as the living embodiment of Captain Morgan Rum's mascot. No need to wear a wig and glue on a moustache!

Czelt: I actually dislike Bacardi a lot more, but Cpt. Morgan looked better on the sign.
Swanky: I just can't resist biting the bOINGbOING that feeds me sometimes...guess it's the old punk in me. I've never seen or met Crazy Al.
