Belated Birthday Booty Bulletin
In my haste to prepare for my trip to D.C. last week, I negelected to post about the fabulous gifties I received on my 47th birthday from family and friends. Please allow me to remedy this grievous omission in the extended entry.
Firstly, my wife and kids all chipped in to buy me the complete DVD megaset of The Prisoner, something I've been coveting for quite a while. I've ripped and posted a brief clip of the "dreamy" party scene from "A, B, and C" for your viewing pleasure.
And as if that weren't enough excellency for one birthday, they also gifted me with the first season set of Venture Brothers. If you haven't watched this brilliant Johnny Quest parody yet, you're missing the best cartoon on television. Period. Needless to say, I want to bear the children of Dr. Girlfriend.
Finally, an old friend gave me this way groovy vintage icebucket with a bamboo handle and tongs:
