Groovy Age of Blogging

Bella Rossa's Interviews With Bloggers series continues with the extremely shy, retiring, and apolitical Curt, host of Groovy Age of Horror. His 'blog provides a vital service for those of us who grew up in the 60s and 70s reading horror paperbacks and comics. Looking forward to reading your book Curt!

Hey, Mr. Bali Hai! I had no idea I'd unintentionally not included a sentence after your BoingBoing comment, which, yes, affected the tone of your reponse there. A simple cut-and-paste error. Sorry!

I just went back in an added the sentence: "Yes, I'm paranoid and delusional."

Wish you'd told me! I really prefer to do very little editing of people's responses, but for small spelling or formatting changes.

Anyway, wow, I'm glad to see that people are enjoying my little project. I find it very interesting, too, to find out more about the people who put such care into the online projects, and what it's really all about. I hope to continue on with it as my schedule allows.

Bella, I didn't mention anything to you because it didn't seem like that big a deal. Had a bunch of people started leaving comments or sending me e-mails along the lines of, "you arrogant little bastard, who do you think you are?" then I would've said something.

Besides, I got so much new traffic from that interview, it'd be dumb for me to complain. Thanks again for your interest!

Yes, if I had to list Curt's faults they would be that he's too shy, retiring and apolitical. The poor guy just needs a backbone and to learn how to say what's really on his mind.

Still, a wonderful guy and a great interview.

Well, we all have our faults. Ours is an overabundance of Midwestern sarcasm, I think...;-)

Like I told Mark, Bali Hai, after I read both of your interviews, I went back to the drawing board after having already sent one set of answers to Bella--you guys had set the bar pretty high, and I didn't want to fall too far short!

You done good, Curt. I enjoyed reading it, and I'm always looking forward to seeing what new and disturbing fumetti images you've dug up.
