My Alibi
I'm heading out to Portland, Oregon for a couple of days on business. While there, I plan to bend an elbow at The Alibi [Link], a tiki bar that's been around since the 40's. I'm also going to stop by the new velvet-painting museum, The Velveteria [Link], and hopefully, I'll get a chance to meet up with my former talk.bizarre collaborator, cynical biped, and Golden Age Green Lantern, Alan Scott [Link].

We did get together at the Alibi for cocktails; the decor was tikiriffic and the company superb. Thanks for everything!

Indeed we did. I'm just sorry that the Mai Tais weren't better, and that we didn't have more time to hang out.
Looks like I'm not going to make it to the Velveteria this trip. Next time.
