The Mummy's Curse

Here's another great article filled with fantastic film promo materials from Greenbriar Picture Shows. In this installment, writer John McElwee shares the tale of his quest to obtain a personal 16mm print of Boris Karloff's The Mummy back in the days when years could pass in between showings on local television channels.

One of the most memorable things from my childhood was an Lp record of BK narrating Peter and the Wolf. This was before any PC corrections ruined the story. Boris had you on the edge of your seat the whole time.Wish I could find another copy of that one

Yeah, I remember listening to that as a kid too. Looks like you can still buy the LP.

Been there done that none of those listed have it as available. I don't know why they have that listing?
Thanks anyways

What a great blog! Thanks for the tip.

I might add, things are certainly looking nice around here, too.

Figured you'd like it, Mark...:-)

I'm pretty happy with the current look and feel of the place too. Much cleaner and easier to maintain than my old digs.
