Thunberdirds Ikimashoo!
Thunberdirds [link] is an odd and mildly disturbing Japanese parody of Gerry Anderson's classic television puppet show, Thunderbirds. My Japanese is far too rusty to make any sense out of the dialogue, but I really don't think it matters. Lemme tell ya, I'll be seeing those fake lips in my nightmares tonight.
In addition to this clip, YouTube is a treasure trove of Supermarionation-related trivia and oddities. Check it out:

There's a lot more, but you can find it yourself.

Never knew the Japanese had that good of a sense of humor. One thing they need to do is outsource their singing, sweet jesus thats tough to listen to. I just watched a Japanese
Rube Goldberg video thats making its rounds on the web. I couldn't handle much of it because of this nasty high pitched Japanese chorus thats sprinkled throughout it.OiyiiiiiiiiiOyi

I like Japanese music a lot, but it's definitely an acquired taste for Western ears.
