I think you're a little confused about how blogging actually works.
Referrals are considered a fundamental courtesy in the blogging world, and about the only way that smaller bloggers like me can build readership, so when bigger bloggers take links from smaller ones without giving an attribution, it's exactly like Coop said, you haven't tipped the hat.
As for being childish and selfish, my intent was to give Coop a little humorous needling, nothing more, and that's exactly the way he seemed to take it. The strikethrough was my way of saying that everything's cool.
If he finds it offensive, then I'll gladly take it down. Otherwise, I really don't think you have any business lecturing me.
