Namaste, Hippies...Gruss Gott, Muencheners!
My mandatory confinement in Boulder ends tomorrow. This week has gone a lot faster than last week, partly because I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but mainly because I discovered a bar that makes GREAT caipirinhas, thus allowing me to stay half-drunk up until my departure. I bought a bottle of cachaça to take home with me so I can make them in my little bamboo hideaway in the basement.
My stop back home will be a short one, as I'm leaving for Munich on the 20th. My son, a 3rd-year German student, will be coming with me the first week to soak up some local culture, then I'll be staying on for an additional week to teach a class. I'm totally up for 13 days of Massbier, Schweinhaxen, and Weisswuerste in my favorite German city.
Das Besserer Deutschland, Bayern!

Do you like caipirinha? :D It's very popular (and cheap) here, but I prefer drinking Tequila.

I would consider it a personal honor to finally meet Mr. Übertiki. How about a cool threesome. ;-)

Bibi, I like caipirinhas too much!
Dieter, I'd be happy to meet you, but no sex on the first date!

13 DAYS! That sounds like shedloads of Weisswuerste to me. Have fun: )

Konstantin, yes "shedloads" of tender, virtually tasteless Weisswuerste, or as I like to call it: Bavarian Tofu...;-)

Rubbish, they are delicious! Just get the real ones. The fresh ones that you have to eat before lunch time. With loads of sweet mustard and a pint of white beer. Priceless. But you know that anyway... honestly : )
