Shoot Me Now
Is anybody else as tired of Talk Like A Pirate Day and the Flying Spaghetti Monster as I am?
UPDATE: Screenhead suggests Talk Like William Shatner Day instead. I...think...that's...a great idea....KHAAAAANNNNNNNN!

hahahaha. i hear ya. why not offer a sacrifice to the tiki-gods in hopes for the swift demise of those "false gods?"

Right. The Flying Drunken Tiki Monster is a deity that people can really get behind. Flying Spaghetti..who cares?
However, the only sacrifices I'm willing to offer on a Monday morning involve the "hair of the dog".

the hair of the dog- a sacred offering indeed! requiring utmost quiet for successful administration. shhhhhh.

I was tired of "talk like a pirate day" two years ago. And the FSM has gotten way more mileage than it deserved.

Count me in for the Talk Like William Shatner Day, as long as it's Esperanto, which he spoke in INCUBUS (1965). I'd be so there for that, man!

I would recommend, instead of TLaPD, this guide to the Australian language.

Li estas mortinta, Keith!
rone: truly, your sense of pre-ennui is something the rest of us can only aspire to.

My current desktop pic is this. I've ignored most of the FSM hype, so I'm still mildly amused by it (it's cute but not "OMG!!!1!1 STOP TEH INTERNET!!! THIS JOKE IS TEH FUNNY!!1!11!!!" funny), but mostly I'm amused by FSM hanging out with Kirk.
Which, I guess, means put me down for 'yes' on Talk Like Shatner Day.
