Please Stand By
Sorry for the lack of blogging action lately. I developed some sort of sinus infection last week which has largely sapped my will to post due to the fact that I find it difficult to remain upright for periods longer than 5 minutes or so. I'll be back when my ears open up and my sense of balance returns.

boy, this matt fella sure is a mary. in my day we'd blog no matter what was happening! why i once knew a man named barney who, after drinking 26 manhattans in 3 hours at a german brothel, was pronounced clinically dead by the madam but still managed to churn out plenty of blog content until two days later when she managed to wire up a defibrillator from a car battery and two spatulas! good ol' barney! those were the days alright. what's this matt whippersnapper got? a nostril itch? bah...

Oh, no! I'm all sympathy for sinus issues after dealing with my own last week. Hope you're feeling better soon, Mr. B.

Yup, I'm a big wuss. Thanks for the sympathy. I went to see the doc today and he couldn't find any sign of infection, so I guess I'm gonna hafta tough it out.

Hey -- then it sounds like we had exactly the same thing. Sure felt like a sinus infection, but the doc said it was just some kind of virus thing. Luckily, it went away pretty quickly.

Mine was more in the ears than the sinus, but my doctor couldn't couldn't any clear signs of either. The fact that I felt dizzy suggests that it was probably a mild middle-ear thing.
