TeeVee Eye On Me

Eve is a romantic, satirical novel by Aurelio O'Brien set in the 31st century where only a single company remains: GenieCorp, provider of genetically enhanced creatures that perform basic services for humanity like TeeVee, a living home-entertainment center, the rather alarming AlarmCock, and the profoundly-disturbing-on-so-many-levels, Lick-N-Span.

feelin any better about blogging?
A bit, but I'm still really tired of seeing links that I posted over a year ago showing up at other sites labeled as 'new' content.
I'm also fed up with bloggers who post highly inflammatory political content and then get indignant when people don't kiss their ass and tell them how wonderful they are. I hate all extremists, I don't care what they believe.

"I hate all extremists, I don't care what they believe."
pretty extreme viewpoint...
just kidding.
i think the exponential growth of blogging has to be taken into consideration as far as the content goes. there are so many new people every day viewing and blogging themselves that content is always renewed with a new audience. it can almost be seen as a "generational" thing. each new generation discovering the same things the generation before them discovered. most natural thing in the world. like in the real world each new generation thinking they are the first to discover beer or philosophy or angst.
i think at this point folks who have been blogging a long time must on some level blog for one another. think "generation gap."
i know it does not make it any more frustrating. but hey, what can you do?
as you once told me a while back (you're first comment on my site i think)... original content. that's the only way to escape the hamster wheel.
anyhow, we all still dig e.o.t.g. if that makes you feel any better.

Touché.
And thanks for the kind words. It's nice to be appreciated, but I'd like to be appreciated a lot more. I've gotten a lot of support from some pretty big sites, but it doesn't seem to be translating into very many repeat customers. Quite frankly, I'm at a loss to explain why. Maybe my tastes are a bit too esoteric for a lot of folks.
As for the original content, I'd love to produce more, but I just don't have the time right now.
