I Want My Cartopia and I Want It Now!

Designer Jim Cherry (who I met 2 posts down in LA) maintains an UltraFab website called Cartopia, which looks to be an online proposal for a coffee-table book about retro-futuristic dream cars. The site features a small, but high-quality collection of images from advertising, magazine covers, toys and models.
Dunno about you, but I'd buy this book in a heartbeat.

Cherry's a good guy. He's also working on some graphic work for the new Mission Tiki drive-in theater that's in the works in Monclair. Can't wait to see what he'll have cooked up.

Jim talked about the drive-in project at El Carmen, and sadly, he's no longer involved due to "creative differences"

I'm still waiting for my autogyro, so who knows when the jet packs will arrive from MI-5.

I'll have a word with Q, Jim, and try to find out what's holding them up.
