Rodney on the Flipside

Apparently, I'm not the only person scanning entire issues of Flipside and putting them up on the IntarWeb. Feast your eyes on these primo scans of the 10th anniversary issue which showcases a variety of articles from the first 50 issues.

Of particular interest to me was the exclusive interview with perpetual scenester, Rodney Bingenheimer, starting on page 17. Rodney was Flipside's biggest booster in the early days, and they've always been joined at the hip in my mind.

Speaking of Rodney, he also appears in an installment of Morgana Welch's Hollywood Diaries, the highly interesting (and explicit) recollections of a 70's groupie hanging out on the Sunset Strip.
