Tattooed Chefs

I wonder if chefs have tradionally done this? or is this just part of the current madness to tattoo because everyone else does? Sometime in the future when they hit 50 and the tattoo has turned into a big ugly ink stain some docs are gonna get rich with the lazer removal. LOL.
