More Drinking, Less Thinking

I love the serendipitous mash-ups that occur when you mix English with other languages. Folks already know about Engrish, and Chinglish is starting to make the scene, but what about Dunglish?
Other than a men's clothing chain called Sissy Boy, and some really atrocious restaurant menu translations, I didn't notice any overt use of Dunglish during my trip to the Netherlands last week. Along with the Danes, the Dutch are probably the most accomplished non-native English speakers in the world.
By the way, my trip to Australia got cancelled. Such are the vagaries of corporate restructuring and budget cuts. I'll miss having an opportunity to stomp canetoads, drink bee-ah, and eat marinated kangaroo rump with my friend littleamerica, but I won't miss the 20+ hour plane flight to Sydney.
My next travel opportunity? Vegas, baby.

You forgot to mention Spanglish.
When are you going to be in Vegas?

Dunglish cracks me up! I love these hybrid dialects! And there's also "Manglish" (Malaysian-English)- which I find kinda cringey, even though I grew up with so much of it.

Lili, I heard a lot of "Singlish" in Singapore, is that fairly similar to Manglish?
