If you were an aficionado of Mad Magazine (yeah, I'm on a jag), then you know Basil Wolverton was the artist who graced its pages with renderings of hideously deformed, warty women. But did you know that Wolverton also produced a series of gruesome illustrations of the end of the world as described in the biblical Book Of Revelations?

Great to see the info, but Pocch (Paul Puccini) was in Blow Up early on, and has been on the scene as writter musician etc and is out and abbout ALL THE TIME...last seen at Amoeba records Futurehead performance a month ago..RUSTY FROM EULOGY HAS BEEN IN paul mCcARTNEY'S BAND FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW!
Gus Hudson (Al's first wife, staffer Holyy's brother) put out Beck's first lp on FlipsideRecords, a label I helped found with the
first 3 "Flipside Viny Fanzine" albums, in
conjunction with my own Gasatanka Recrods
Last I heard X worked inmusic supervision at Paramount, but I guess you talked to him. Now, where is Paul Problem?????

Thanks for the info, Bill. I remember Blow Up, but I don't think I ever knew what Pooch's real name was.
Rusty is where he deserves to be.
X-8 and I got back in touch a few months after I started this weblog, thanks to Metal Mike of the Angry Samoans. I tried to see him over Christmas, but our schedules didn't mesh.
