Jungle Larry's Safari

I did a little antiquing yesterday, and came home with a couple of really interesting bits of ephemera. One of them was so much fun, I decided to share it, so I spent a few hours this morning scanning parts of a 1970s brochure from a wild-animal park in Florida called Jungle Larry's Safari.

Enjoy!

Very,very nice!
Oh, I love her dress!

Thanks! You typically only see dresses like that on 300-lb women...;-)

I'll be putting up a couple more scanned items this week, so ya'll come back now.

That's excellent - but one tiny detail. Jungle Larry was also at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio (not Illinois). He was always a guest on Cleveland tv shows when I was a kid.

Duly noted and corrected. Thanks!

Hope you don't mind - I linked to this fabulousness over at 9622.net, since we're all about the monkey business!

Oh I want to go to Jungle Larry's Safari!! Thanks for sharing this!

tizzie: that's cool. I was actually thinking of 9622 when I was putting it together.

lili: the Florida location is still open, just under a different name, so you and Eddie can visit when you embark on your Great American Road Trip!
