Going Coastal On Our Asses
It's been a busy week. I managed to get down to D.C. on Sunday, and spent the day along the Capitol Mall. I went to the National Gallery first. Afterwards, I visited the National Archives and had a look at the Bill of Rights and the Constitution (just to make sure that they were still there, doncha know). Finally, I hit the Smithsonian Natural History museum, specifically to see the gallery of Polynesian artifacts which never fails to please me.
I'll be returning to "fly-over land" tomorrow morning. If you read the screeds of smug, bloviating, self-righteous jerks like Ted Rall, you may be inclined to believe that it's a vast cultural wasteland inhabited solely by knuckle-dragging, cretinous homophobes and warmongers. Ted, baby, you really need to climb out of that New York bubble you're living in and take a gulp of fresh air. People like you couldn't be doing more harm to liberal causes if you were an undercover operative for Karl Rove.

Two words for Ted... Perfumed Ponce.
Have you seen this yet.

For such a self-proclaimed smart guy, Ted is unbelievably dumb. He's also a hypocrite who only applies his own professed values when it suits him. Some of his cartoons are incredibly offensive, especially the one where he ridicules kids with Downs Syndrome.
Yes, you posted that link in my comments a few days ago. I moved it down to the Cocktail Database entry below. That'll be one more item on my tiki-bar shopping list.

No problem. Target does have some cool tiki stuff, and it's cheap!
