Lies and the Lying Hollywood Liars Who Tell Them

Michael Moore and Mel Gibson's most recent films share some disturbing and amusing similarities, along with a cavalier attitude towards the truth when it comes to whoring for publicity.

Hmm, what's that old adage about becoming what you profess to despise?

"simularities"?

And I thought that MT 2.65 didn't come with a spellchecker...=^/

Movie makers these days remind me of the boy that cried wolf. their medium is going downslope fast and soon ,when they do have something to say the audience will be spending their fun money at a new fun house.

Oh, I think that Moore and Gibson have something to say, but it's the way they're saying it that's the problem.

In both cases they're trying to reach a wider audience with their agenda, but the deceptive practices and slanted message that they're employing are guaranteed to turn off everyone except for the true believers, who will see these films even if it were conclusively proved that both these clowns were eating babies, having sex with barnyard animals, and drinking the blood of little old ladies.

Except that in this case, Moore's slanted message happens to be slanted towards the truth.

Maybe the truth as you see it, Natalie, but when you're dealing with political agendas, I don't think that word has much meaning since everyone will bend it towards their own interpretation.
