Here's a Dubliner's perspective of today's festivities here in the US. I'll be changing out of my green shirt now.

I should mention that I've met him at least once, and possibly twice, and he's about the most relaxed, cheerful, and easygoing person you can imagine, so my readers who've suggested that he might benefit from medication can rest assured that he's receiving all the mood-modification he requires (typically inside pint glasses of Guinness).
