Scatalunya
My friend Mark sent me this picture of a street sign in Barcelona. I know that I've been on a bit of a poo jag lately, but I just had to share it.
Why are there 3 turds, and why are they all perfect spheres? Do they represent some sort of mystical Catalunyan ideal of fecal harmony? Are they perhaps a scatalogical tribute to Ernie Bushmiller's three rocks?
Inquiring minds want to know.

I think you have to understand the weird, almost spiritual fixation that Catalunyans have for dung to fully appreciate how funny that sign is to me.
In light of that, I view the reaching hand as a symbol of man reaching out to touch its mysterious perfection.
Of course, one might say that I'm in deep doodoo here.

I had unfortunately made prior plans before I saw the posting and Madison is a pretty long jaunt for me that would require an overnight stay.
I'd like to imagine that .s is a chameleon-like being who changes appearance constantly, much like the name and URL of his/her 'blog...;^)
