Kiss Me, Grabowski
The Meeker Museum is a shrine to actor Ralph Meeker, who portrayed brutal detective Mike Hammer in director Robert Aldrich's masterpiece of film noir and cold-war paranoia, Kiss Me Deadly. A more disturbing film from that era, you're unlikely to find; it features Cloris Leachman tortured to death with pliers, a mysterious briefcase* full of fissionable material that turns everyone who looks at it into a flaming human marshmallow, and a mysterious apocalyptic ending that may or may not have killed our protagonists.
Before you take your leave of the museum, be sure to stop by and say "howdy" to Conway Twitty and the amazing Woo Woo Grabowski. These days, Woo Woo is retired from film, but makes his living hand-sculpting gear shift knobs for Kustom Kar Kulture enthusiasts.
*-Quentin Tarantino ripped off paid homage to KMD's radioactive briefcase in Pulp Fiction.

Also see Repo Man for briefcase homage. Love your site, by the way!

There was indeed a glowing trunk in Repo Man, but no briefcase:
