Halfway to 88
Today is my birthday. I'm 44. If any of my loyal readers want to chip in to buy me a present, I've always wanted one of Marcel Duchamp's green boxes. You should be able to pick one up for around $25k or so. Yes, it's pricey, but I'm worth it.
If you just can't see your way to getting me the green box, then a 4-color litho from the Antonioni film Blow Up will do nicely, they're available at Modern Gallery for a measely $75. Be careful when viewing the site's splash page tho', this morning I sat in a trancelike state in front of the computer and watched the little animated Shag chyk frug to that insidiously catchy Elvis remix for about 10 minutes until the cat finally bit my leg and snapped me out of it. Nice kitty.

Happy Birthday, but please, no baseball games near the Large Glass.
A quick look at Amazon doesn't seem to turn it up, but I have a 1976 book edition of "The Bride Stripped Bare By Her Bachelors, Even" -- "a typographic version by Richard Hamilton of Marcel Duchamp's Green Box, translated by George Heard Hamilton." Published by Jaap Rietman Inc., Art Books, New York.
Has the art, the photos and the hand-written text type-set and translated to English.

No cricket would be more apropos since I just saw a repro of the Large Glass at the Tate Modern in London.
A quick google turned up this link to a first edition of the notes:
