Fall In Blighty

Huzzah! I just confirmed today that I'm going to be doing a training roadshow in Europe that will take me to Munich, London, Milan, and Paris. Again I say, Huzzah! I leave at the end of this month. My friend Steve lives in London and works for Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

In other news, I find the paintings of Chris Mars to be quite disturbing in a good way.

Tell the Henson gang that there are still a lot of us out here keeping a candle burning for a concluding season of Farscape.

I have to confess that I just don't understand why people went gaga over Farscape. I thought it was well done, but not particularly great. LEXX was much more my cup of meat, mainly due to it's really twisted premise and storylines that didn't even pretend to make sense.

I can see where you're coming from. LEXX was very entertainingly warped. But with time, it wore out on me (I didn't like that last, Earth-based season at all). Farscape didn't strike me at all at first, and I didn't even watch it. Then I caught bits of episodes here and there, and eventually got drawn in. Obviously, Henson has developed an evil hypno-beam sub-signal (which Sci-Fi executives are evidently immune to). But at least LEXX got to run to a conclusion.
